Where it began​

Rume was founded on over 15 years of experience in the garden room and leisure product industry, driven by a passion for transforming outdoor spaces.
Our founder and managing director, Charlie Dawson-Lear, started his journey in the world of outbuildings while studying journalism at university. He began working weekends with a friend importing DIY kit-built log cabins from Europe. This experience exposed him to the growing trend of maximising garden space with these innovative solutions.
